She was the captain of both the 2012 "Fierce Five" and the 2016 "Final Five" U.S. women's Olympic gymnastics teams, who won their respective teams competitions.At the 2012 Olympics in London, she won gold medals for the floor and team events, and also the bronze medal on the balance beam, which made her the most decorated American gymnast to compete at the Games. In the 2016 Olympics in Rio de Janeiro, she was awarded a gold medal in the team event, making her and teammate Gabby Douglas the sole Americans who won back-toback team gold medals. Raisman also earned silver medals in the individual all-around as well as the floor exercise. Raisman was awarded silver medals in the individual all-around, in addition to the floor exercise. She also is two-time national champion in the floor exercise (2012, 2015), the 2012 champion of the national team on the balance beam and five times a medalist in the all-around competition at the national championships (silver in 2016, bronze in 2010, 2012, 2011, and 2015). Inducted into The International Jewish Sports Hall of Fame in 2013.
