Kristen Anne Bell (1980) is an incredibly famous American performer and actress. She was born and raised in Huntington Woods, Michigan, and is the daughter of Lorelei (Frygier) who is Nurse and Tom Bell, a television news director. The mother of Kristen is Polish as is her father, who is German, English Irish and Scottish. Kristen was already an accomplished performer from a young age. In 1992, she attended her first audition. The audition was for a part in Raggedy Ann And Andy. Bell, who was 13 at the time her mother enrolled as an agent was also auditioned for TV and newspaper advertisements. Along with taking private lessons in acting, she launched her career around that time. Bell played a brief, uncredited role as a character in Polish Wedding (1998) in 1998. Bell went to Shrine Catholic High School and was a member of the music club and the drama club. She was the star of Dorothy in her high school's play The Wizard of Oz. Bell attended an institution called the Tisch School of the Arts in New York City, where she studied Musical Theatre in New York City. Bell left the university in 2001 to take on the character of Becky of Tom Sawyer. In 2001, it was also when Bell's debut appearance was in a film that was credited to her, Pootie Tang (2002). The scene she appeared in has been cut out and the credits only display her. Bell appeared in Broadway for the first time in The Crucible, a revival which featured Liam Neeson with Angela Bettis.
